Welcome From Captain Michael Caruso

Dear Citizens,

The Ninth Police District is centrally located within the City of St. Louis, bounded roughly by Jefferson to the east, Kingshighway to the west, Interstate 44 to the south, and North Market to the north.  The District is home to some of the top companies, hospitals, and universities in the country.  District Nine is also home to eight different neighborhoods, each having a very active neighborhood association that works with the police to address crime and nuisance problems in their area. 

We are also fortunate in the Ninth District to have the support of a business association that was formed over twenty years ago for the purpose of working with the officers to make the district a better place to live, work, and visit.  The hard work of this dedicated group of business executives is quite apparent, and much appreciated by every officer who has had the pleasure of being assigned to District Nine. 

We have a very dedicated group of police officers in District Nine, who work tirelessly to reduce crime in each of the eight neighborhoods within the district.  We can always improve, but I assure you we will always strive to provide you with the level of service that you expect and deserve as a citizen of this fine city.

Get Involved in Community Meetings
The Ninth District Police Business Association meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m. at the Central Patrol Division located at 919 North Jefferson. All members of the Ninth District Police Business Association are welcome to attend. For more information, visit their website.
