Welcome From Captain William Swiderski

Dear Citizens,

In June of 2010, I began serving as commander of the Eighth district. We are fortunate to have so many dedicated and ambitious officers who work to aggressively attack crime in the area. We closely monitor and analyze the crimes in your neighborhoods in an effort to prevent future crimes from happening.

I encourage you to do your part in making an impact on crime. The surest way to help prevent future crimes is to work closely with our officers by reporting crimes and suspicious activity. An active Neighborhood Watch program can make a big difference in reducing crime in the 8th District. Involved citizens really do make a difference!

Sincerely,

Captain William Swiderski
Commander, District Eight
